ATS parsingContact details: out of the page header, into the body
Many ATS parsers read only the document body and skip Word page headers and footers entirely — some .docx text extractors drop header content by default. If your email and phone live in a header banner, the ATS can create a candidate profile with no way to contact you. Contact details belong in the first lines of the body, as plain text.
